iPhone Developer Freeverse Sells Over 5 Million Apps

Posted February 19, 2010 by James Brightman

Freeverse, which develops for both the Mac and iPhone/iPod Touch, today reached an important sales milestone. The company has sold over 5 million apps on the iPhone platform. The company currently offers 24 games and apps on the iTunes App Store.

Some of Freeverse's hit titles include Skee-Ball, Moto Chaser, Flick Fishing, SlotZ Racer, Flick Bowling and NBA Hotshot. Ian Lynch Smith, President of Freeverse, commented, "We're excited to be hitting such a major milestone, and want to take the opportunity to thank the development teams and partners who have created such compelling content. The iPhone has changed the way we think about and interact with games, and we want to keep learning and innovating as we strive for the next milestone."

The iPhone OS continues to gain more and more support, and the platform seems to have had an explosion of development since Apple unveiled the iPad, analytics firm Flurry recently reported. A separate report indicated that game developers are shifting their resources away from Wii and more towards the iPhone.

Both Inevitability and chance contribute to a success,Freeverse reach so high depends on its capacity as well as its forturn such as Apple unveiled the iPad, No matter how I believe now Freeverse can create another milestone ,although with enormous competition next.
