The initial impresson by many of the new iPad is that the tablet computer looks like a giant iPod Touch, but Ngmoco CEO Neil Young does think that its resemblance to Apple's other seminal products is an advantage.
"In many ways it is a large format iPod, but that's in fact what makes it interesting," said Young to Gamasutra. "The display surface is now big enough to be a really engaging and immersive interface, and it's an in-home venue device as much as it's a mobile device.”
"I think that Apple just found a way to get into the living rooms without having to build a dedicated game console," he adds.
He noted that Ngmoco is planning "a lot of support” for the iPad.

Ngmoco helped put iPhone gaming on the map. Looking forward to the company's iPad response. May convince me to splurge.
