Rovio Mobile - Petri Jarvilehto
Rovio Mobile recently announced that Petri Jarvilehto has joined as the senior vice president for console development. His first job will be to oversee the new console iterations of Angry Birds.
"We want to make Angry Birds a long lasting global gaming franchise, and we see the console platforms as a way of delivering an even more entertaining, powerful and involving experience," said Rovio CEO Mikael Hed. "Petri has an outstanding track record and we're thrilled to have him take the lead of our console development."
"Angry Birds is one of the fastest growing gaming franchises in the world right now," said Jarvilehto. "I think we're only in the beginning, and with consoles we have the opportunity to create a new kind of gaming experience."
Jarvilehto previously co-founded Remedy. While at the company he helped develop the first twoMax Payne titles and Alan Wake.
RockYou - Katrina Osio, John Yoo
RockYou has announced that they will hire Katrina Osio as SVP of Marketing and John Yoo as Creative Director. They will help develop and distribute high-quality social games and expand their in-game advertising network.
“Working at RockYou will enable me to exercise my broad range of marketing experience,” said Osio. “We have a strong team and strategic vision here, and I'm proud to be a part of it.”
Osio has a multidisciplinary marketing background and has been in the interactive space since 1996, with positions at AOL, Time Warner, and Sidebar. She most recently was head of marketing at Fastpoint Games.
John Yoo brings over ten years of social and online gaming experience to his new position, having helped develop World of Warcraft. He guided the development of star franchises including Star Trek Online, City of Heroes, City of Villains and Earth Eternal. Yoo was most recently the design lead for CityVille.

MocoSpace - Robert Lindsley
Recently, MocoSpace announced that it hired Robert Lindsley as VP of MocoSpace Games. He will oversee the expansion of the MocoSpace Game Platform and also lead MocoSpace’s internal game development activities.
“We are thrilled to have someone with Robert’s gaming chops on board,” says MocoSpace CEO Justin Siegel. “This hire will really advance us towards our goal of delivering a great game experience to our large, fast-growing smartphone audience.”
Lindsley brings two decades of video game industry experience. He started at Sierra On-Line working on the King's Quest series. Lindsley worked at Microsoft for several years, launching the Xbox and collaborating on numerous titles. He then went on to serve as Executive Producer at Atari Interactive. Lindsley was most recently at Harmonix Music Systems where he was Executive Producer.
“I’m very excited about joining a great team with an amazing opportunity,” says Lindsley. “With MocoSpace’s audience, the idea of getting to build out a platform and games was too good to pass up.”
