Humble Indie Bundle Hits $1 Million

Posted August 2, 2011 by M.H. Williams

Though the third Humble Indie Bundle started only six days ago, it has already grossed $1 million according to the official site’s counter.  Minecraft creator Markus Persson stands as the second-highest contributor with a donation of $4,048, while bitcoin exchange site MTGox.com has eclipsed him with a donation of $4,096.

Currently the average Linux user has donated $11.63, while the average Windows and Mac OS X users have donated $3.80 and $6.60 respectively.  Most of the 217,918 purchases were made by Windows users.

It’s for an excellent cause so if you’re interested in the games at all, or even just a kind soul, you should give a few bucks!
