Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be released for the iPad and will be getting the HD treatment for its release next week.
The game originally was released on the Nintendo DSi and Sony PSP, was an instant critical success, but failed to make a big splash on the charts. It was eventually released for Apple’s iPod Touch and iPhone, and now with an iPad release, Rockstar will add a slew of new features to the game, including HD enhanced graphics.
Rockstar has stated that the game will be given features specifically developed for the iPad: “Intuitive Multi Touch user interface controls, adjusted difficulty levels and iTunes customizable radio station Independence Radio, Chinatown Wars HD comes to the iPad with brand new, updated high definition graphics.”
Chinatown Wars HD will be available on September 9 for $9.99.
