In late May, reports circulated that Grin was closing its Gothenburg and Barcelona studios and laying off personnel at its Stockholm headquarters with over 100 employees believed to be downsized. It now appears, however, that things are even worse for the company than the layoffs implied.
Citing anonymous sources, Gamasutra reports that Grin employees at the Stockholm studio were told not to show up to work this week. These employees believe that the company may be dealing with a closing or bankruptcy procedure.
During the first half of 2009, Grin developed titles Wanted: Weapons of Fate, Bionic Commando and Terminator Salvation all released to less than stellar reviews and underwhelming sales returns. Considering that the lackluster performance of one modern game is enough to shutter some developers, having three disappointing titles consecutively might be more than Grin can handle.

If you have played any of the above-mentioned games, then this would come as no surprise.
Hopefully the artists will be able to go to companies that have better gameplay ideas and better management.

All three of those games had a lot of promise too. Wanted was fun though the rant at the end turned me off and i've yet two get bionic commando nor terminator. I still plan to purchase them at some point.
