Sony European brand manager Penrose Tackie has announced that a region specific bundle will be released for the hotly anticipated Gran Turismo 5.
The bundle will include a myriad of items, such as a metal sculpted box, a 1:43 sized replica SLS, a wallet, USB stick and a coffee table book that features beautiful car pictures and locations shown within Gran Turismo 5.
The new bundle is a step above what was shown to Americans at E3, but this package comes with a special prize: an actual Mercedes Benz SLS AMG to the winner of a special contest that will be held for those who purchase the “signature edition.”
“Those lucky enough to get their hands on the Signature Edition (quantities are going to be strictly limited) will be able to enter an extraordinary competition that will combine in-game and real world driving challenges – the prize at the end of these two stages? A real Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG supercar,” says Tackie.
Tackie also unveiled 6 new supercars that will be available as DLC at release for all regions. Dubbed the ‘stealth line,’ the cars include a McLaren F1, Mazda 787B, Honda NSX GT500, Audi R10 TDI, Nissan GT-R GT500, and the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
The “Signature Edition” will retail for €179.99 and will be released at launch, Nov. 2.
