Got a Question for Michael Pachter?

Posted September 8, 2009 by James Brightman

Last month, in the third edition of our monthly series "Pachter's Podium," Michael Pachter of Wedbush Morgan Securities talked about the PS3 Slim, whether publishers should pursue the core audience on Wii, the generally "inferior" PC gaming experience and more.

We're now getting ready to set up the next edition of "Pachter's Podium" and we'll gladly consider your questions for the piece. Either post them in the comments section below or e-mail them to us.

Remember, the column will only feature a total of five questions, so we can't guarantee that your question will be chosen. Thanks for participating.

James Brightman has been covering the games industry since 2003 and has been an avid gamer ever since the days of Atari and Intellivision. He was previously the EIC of GameDaily Biz.

Dear Mr. Pachter, boxers or briefs? Just kidding. Two questions.

First, after the seemingly sixth straight month of declining video game sales, do you realistically expect the industry(as a whole) to finish in the black with positive numbers?

Second, do you think the newly revealed PS3 slim will outsell either the Wii or 360 this holiday season(September-December combined)?
