Google's Andy Rubin has announced that 700,000 new Android devices are activated every day now. This total does not include re-sold devices and is more than twice the number reported by the company in December 2010.
Android has seen its activation number go up by an average of over 30,000 units each month during 2011. Despite these encouraging results, iOS apps make three times the revenue on average.
