E3: Goldeneye 007 Returns To A Nintendo Console

Posted June 15, 2010 by M.H. Williams

One of the greatest multiplayer shooters of all time is making a comeback. Goldeneye 007, originally developed by Rare for the Nintendo 64, is making a return on the Nintendo Wii. Activision is sprucing up the graphics, and replacing ex-Bond Pierce Brosnan with his current counterpart, Daniel Craig.

Four-player split-screen deathmatch makes its triumphant return with online multiplayer following close behind. New gameplay modes and eight classic Bond characters round out the title. Goldeneye 007 will be released exclusively for Nintendo Wii this holiday season.
