God of War III 'Game of the Year' Material, says Peter Dille

Posted March 15, 2010 by David Radd

It was clearly evident in talking to senior vice president of marketing and PlayStation Network Peter Dille that he is very confident in the upcoming God of War III. The executive is so upbeat in the product, he thinks it will continue Sony Worldwide Studios' recent tradition of huge acclaim and success.

"We've tried hard to put together the extensive campaign and we think it deserves it. The environments are four times larger than what is in God of War II – [Kratos is] navigating entire armies while on the back of Titans. The entire level is moving; it's amazing to look at. This will be a big system seller," said Dille to IndustryGamers. "Everything about God of War, we run by the dev team and they had very specific feedback about how to market it; the game is a testament to their work. This thing will explode when it hits the market and we're shooting for a three-peat of 'Game of the Year' titles: LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted 2 and now God of War III."

Stay tuned for the full interview with Dille about God of War III's marketing.

Thanks guys. I had to 'torture' Nintendo to get the interview, but it was well worth it. I walked out of the room really feeling like I'd had a great conversation. driver update software

Haha, believe me, Pachter doesn't even need a publicist. Pachter raised some points that I thought were interesting and I felt I should bring up with Reggie. It's as simple as that.online fax

Senator Lott, at a party honoring U.S. Senator Strom Thurmond, praised Senator Thurmond by suggesting that the United States would have been better off had Thurmond been elected president. Lott's critics saw these comments as a tacit approval of racial segregation, a policy advocated by Thurmond's 1948 presidential campaign.fax on internet

In May 2007, Lakeshore Entertainment re-teamed with Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the creators of Crank (2006), to produce a "high-concept futuristic thriller" called Game. Neveldine and Taylor wrote the script for Game and were slated to direct the film, while actor Gerard Butler was cast into the lead role.halt id theft

Would that not be the coolest MMO ever? Spend some of the dev budget buying the rights to crappy old movies. People making fun of them for rating, others kick back to sample the carnage. Customizable gumball dispenser robots. ecommerce

Fantasy is mainstream. Young Mr. Potter had a great deal to do with it, but Hollywood in the past few years has smelled the gold pieces as well.canvas prints

That will probably be the time when you’ll start to see Sony stretch its wings and say “Ok, now there’s enough stuff in here that, I don’t care who you are and what you’re into, you’re going to find your space, where you want to hang out’… that’ll be the time when you’ll start to see it marketed big”. First, based on our own research, the Wii platform by far is the system that stands alone in the consumer's home. In our data, we actually see much more dual-ownership between a PS3 or Xbox 360 both being in the home vs.Motorbike boots

Of course he is going to be confident. All of the previous GOW games have been fantastic and made a lot of money and there is every reason to think this will be the same (Campeche Mexico Spanish School). It is pretty much the same thing as saying the next Harry Potter movie will make money. A no brainer.
