God of War 4 Coming September 2012? – Report

Did you think the last time you were going to get to play Kratos was the PlayStation 3 version of Mortal Kombat?  This time last year, Sony Santa Monica promised that while God of War 3 was the end of the trilogy, it was not the end of the franchise.  According to the PlayStation magazine PSM3 (via CVG), the studio will be making good on that promise by September of 2012.

"PSM3 has heard from another source that God of War 4 is coming, and will hit in September 2012," PSM3 reports. "Our source works closely with the God of War universe, and let slip he'd be working on a related project at the same time."

Ah, anonymous source, you always tell us the best rumors.  Who's looking forward to more random dismemberment?
