Gearbox Is Moving On Up In Texas

Posted November 21, 2011 by M.H. Williams

Apparently Borderlands and Duke Nukem Forever are doing well for Gearbox.  The developer has just signed a lease on a new 61,000 square foot office space in the city of Frisco, just north of Dallas.  Gearbox’s lease marks the jump-off for the new mixed-use project, according to the Dallas Business Journal.  Construction on the building is scheduled to begin in early 2012, with final completion in spring 2013.

Yeah. I think I could work there.

"Gearbox is the straw stirring the drink, but we've seen a lot of interest once they have heard about it, particularly different restaurants. The demand has kicked up dramatically,” said Frisco Square Development managing partner Jim Leslie.

"It is definitely a leap forward for us. It's an iconic building with old world architecture that will help frame up the block."
