Game Writing Award Goes to Uncharted 2

Posted February 22, 2010 by James Brightman

You know what Uncharted 2 needs? More awards! After thoroughly cleaning up at the D.I.C.E. Summit (and we're sure it'll do equally well at the Choice Awards next month), Naughty Dog's blockbuster Uncharted 2 has now been honored by the Writers Guild of America. The awards, which focus mainly on film, television and radio, gave Uncharted 2 and creative director Amy Hennig the award for best writing in a video game.

It was revealed earlier today that Uncharted 2 had surpassed 3.5 million in unit sales worldwide, making it the fastest selling first-party title for PlayStation. The game apparently also has over 1.5 million online users across the globe.
