Gaikai has gained a major title to add to its library. CD Projekt has announced their intent to stream their new game, The Witcher 2, over the cloud gaming service. The title has been doing exceptionally well on the PC, and is now making a move to streaming services while waiting to finally move to the Xbox 360.
“The Witcher franchise is an excellent example of the high quality games we are adding to the Gaikai portfolio,” said Robert Stevenson, SVP of Interactive Entertainment, Gaikai. “Utilizing the Gaikai cloud, innovative publishers like CD Projekt can instantly reach a global audience of gamers without special plugins or modifications to their games.”
