Respawn Entertainment founders and former studio heads of Infinity Ward Jason West and Vince Zampella have confirmed that they will be attending QuakeCon to sit on a “Building Blockbusters” panel during the event.
This marks the first time that the pair have been public since the rather nasty break up affair surrounding the Infinity Ward firings. Though we at IndustryGamers had a chance to speak with the pair shortly after the formation of Respawn, there has been nothing from the studio about current projects just yet.
The pair will join id Software’s lead designer Tim Willits and Bethesda’s executive producer Todd Howard.
There has been no word on what the two will discuss at the event, but speculation has been rife with rumors that a discussion on Respawn’s current project could be brought up. The panel could very well focus on previous efforts involved with the Call of Duty franchise as well.
