On the day after Super Sunday, EA Sports unveiled its latest plan to expand the Madden franchise. The exclusive creator of NFL football games will be bringing the franchise to the hundreds of millions of users on Facebook.
“We have to make Madden more accessible,” said EA Sports President Peter Moore to Bloomberg. “You’ll see us on Facebook going forward.”
Moore revealed little else about Madden for Facebook, except that it would be a “simpler experience” compared to the console entries. It's unknown if development on the title would be handled by EA Tiburon, the developers of the console version, or the recently acquired PlayFish.
