Blue Fang Games, known for its Zoo Tycoon games, announced today that it has launched Zoo Kingdom for Facebook. In the game, players can manage and design their own zoo and connect with others in an online community.
“Gaming as we know it is being redefined and so too is our studio,” said Hank Howie, President of Blue Fang Games. “Platforms and technologies will continue to change, but Blue Fang’s strength over the past decade has always been in knowing our audience and what they value in a game. Facebook and the other online and mobile platforms allow us to build on this strength by enabling Blue Fang to have a direct and collaborative relationship with our audience.”
“I am very proud of the Online/Mobile team we have created at Blue Fang and the incredible work they continue to do in support of Zoo Kingdom and the other projects currently in development,” said Eduardo Baraf, Director Online/Mobile. “Today’s launch is a tremendous accomplishment, but it is only the first step for both Zoo Kingdom and the Mobile/Online team. We have set a high bar, but I have no doubt that the best is yet to come.”
Blue Fang Games is also looking to bring Zoo Kingdom to iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad.

Oh geez. I loved the Tycoon games, I am a Farmville hater (sorry, I've just been gifted too darn many brown cows), but I can already see myself gettin my Zoo Tycoozle on allllll night long!

i really like tycoon games. Me and my friends play them a lot. This one is a lot of fun. I am beating my friends on this game but i have to play it a lot to stay ahead of them. I like building the zoo its fun.

After Farmville (which has become a little of a bore!), it will be a change to play Zoo Kingdom on Facebook! When developing a game, I lot of input has to go on what the players want and see that we give them what they expect from it!! Blue Fang Games claim to have done their homework well and claims that this game will allow its players to design their own zoo and connect it with their friends and community online/mobile.
