A new casual-looking game from Epic has players putting down the lancer for a different experience. The newest title, Fortnite, revealed at Spike VGAs certainly has a Minecraft/post-apocalyptic feel to it, with several TF2-looking characters building up defenses to stave off not just zombies at night but also smaller alien-type creatures during the day.
The new game comes from the mind of Gears of War and Unreal creator Cliff Bleszinski. While the trailer certainly offers many assumptions, the promise of scavenging and fortifying was made clear.
