Epic Games has global reach with its Unreal Engine 3 and it's looking to expand its influence in Japan. A Famitsu.com report [thanks IGN] announced details about a previously confirmed new branch that Epic will be opening in Tokyo.
Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney will apparently be on-hand to make the formal announcement in Japan on April 15. He'll be joined by Suda51, who is currently working on an Unreal Engine 3 game, and there will be a video message from Cliff Bleszinski as well.
