Epic Games' Chair 'Aggressively Expanding' its Team

Posted January 13, 2010 by James Brightman

According to the official Shadow Complex Facebook fan page, Epic Games' Chair Entertainment studio is going on a hiring spree. The developer says that it's "aggressively expanding its team" and looking for several key positions, including Producer, Art Director, Level Designer, and more.

Interested job hunters can peruse the available positions on Chair's official jobs page. Interestingly, Chair takes a unique approach to the hiring process, allowing every member of the team to get a say, "because it's very important that everyone is comfortable and productive."

Shadow Complex was one of the top Xbox Live Arcade titles of last summer, and the game broke first week sales records on Xbox Live with over 200,000 downloads. Microsoft Game Studios listed its own recruitment drive for projects a couple months ago, including a Lead Producer to "lead the publishing side of games made by Epic: Gears of War and Shadow Complex." So we think that given the job listings and success for Shadow Complex that we'll be hearing more about the property in the near future.
