EA Chief Financial Officer Departs

Electronic Arts chief financial officer Eric Brown has turned in his resignation with the company according to Gamasutra. His final day at EA will be February 17; current chief accounting officer and senior vice president Kenneth Barker will serve as interim CFO.

Brown first joined EA in 1998 as the COO of its Redwood Shores studio. He later left the company for a time to serve as the CFO of MicroStrategy and later McAfee, returning to EA as CFO almost three years ago. Tuesday, February 21 will see him assume the role of CFO and COO of Polycom.
