Electronic Arts and Virgin Gaming announced today that Virgin Gaming has been chosen as the official provider of online tournaments for EA Sports titles worldwide. Virgin Gaming’s tournament platform will be integrated into select EA Sports games for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The first tournaments under the new deal will begin in 2011, ushering in a new standard in functionality and community tools for EA Sports titles.
