The Entertainment Merchants Assocation (EMA) and the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA) have announced today that EA Sports President Peter Moore will provide the keynote address at the 2011 GameSupply Summit. The event is scheduled to be held on February 2, 2011 in Burbank, CA. Moore’s keynote, entitled ‘Digital Play – What’s The Future’, will address monetization of digital titles, including free-to-play, subscription programs, and micro-transactions. Moore will also cover the role of retailers in the future of digital distribution.

“Peter Moore is widely recognized as one of the most dynamic and successful executives in the video game industry today, and we are excited that he will be sharing his perspectives on the future of game play with the attendees at this year’s GameSupply conference,” said GameSupply Conference Chairman and MESA Chief Strategist Devendra Mishra. “His pioneering development of the sports genre and deployment of social media have enabled EA to begin to develop the digital games market very successfully.”

The one-day event brings video game retailers, distributors and publishers together to combine their knowledge and experience about developments in interactive entertainment supply. This is the third annual GameSupply taking place at the Marriott Burbank Airport hotel in Burbank, CA on February 2, 2011. Registration for the event is available here.
