Legalese hunting site Superannuation has uncovered three separate trademark filings by EA for something called “Darkspore.” Presumably, Darkspore is the title of the “Spore Title TBA” game announcement during EA's last fiscal report in February 2010.
What is Darkspore? Perhaps a mature-rated Spore action game? An odd Spore/Saw multimedia crossover? A Spore platformer dealing with flashlights? No one knows except EA Maxis, who remains mum on future Spore-related titles.
