Duke Nukem Forever Delayed Until June

Posted March 24, 2011 by M.H. Williams

Brace yourselves: Duke Nukem Forever has been delayed. The quintessential vaporware title has tripped up a bit as it nears the finish line, with the game now shipping one month later than originally intended. Previously the game's release date was May 3 in North America with a May 6 international release date. Duke is now expected to grace store shelves on June 14 in North America and June 10 worldwide. Yes, those of us in the United States got moved to the back of the bus.

The video announcement released by Gearbox can be found here.  It's good to see they still have a sense of humor about the delay itself, given the game's past history.

That video response was great. I'm glad to see that Gearbox was well aware of what this announcement meant.
