Dragon Age, Dead Space Sequels Planned for Next March

Posted February 8, 2010 by James Brightman

Along with its holiday fiscal results today, Electronic Arts has provided an updated list of its product slate for the next year. It looks like both BioWare and Visceral Games will be working hard to pump out new iterations to their Dragon Age and Dead Space properties, respectively. EA has listed both "Dead Space 2" and "Dragon Age Title TBA" for release in Q4 of fiscal 2011, which starts January 1, 2011 and ends in March.

Another noteworthy title listed for that same period is "Shooter from Epic TBA," which is likely the action game from Epic's People Can Fly studio. You may recall that last August the EA Partners business signed a deal with Epic.

Focusing on this year, Crysis 2 has been pegged for Q3 of fiscal 2011, meaning the holiday period.  Realtime Worlds' massively multiplayer title APB has also been scheduled for Q2, meaning sometime between July and September. Also planned for this same quarter is "Medal of Honor Title TBA," which likely is the Medal of Honor reboot that CEO John Riccitiello believes will enable EA to take on Activision's Call of Duty franchise.

The full product listing for fiscal 2011 can be found if you scroll down in this press release. EA Sports is heavily featured, and there are more games in The Sims, Spore and Harry Potter franchises too.
