Double Fine has officially announced their next title, and it will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network next spring. Stacking, a puzzle adventure game, will give players the chance to play as Charlie Blackmore, the world’s smallest Russian Nesting Doll.
Though details are scant on the newly announced game, it will be set in the 1930s as Charlie works to invade other nesting dolls and solves various puzzles.
Stacking is the second time Double Fine has worked on a downloadable title, this coming after their previous title, Costume Quest. Prior to that Double Fine was still entrenched in triple-A console development, working on Brutal Legend.
