Diablo III Auction House & Battle.net Get PayPal For Payments

PayPal and Blizzard have announced today that PayPal will be the default payment solution for the auction house system in its upcoming dungeon crawler, Diablo III.   Players can use PayPal to fund their accounts to buy virtual items and use PayPal to turn their virtual cash into real money.   Diablo III will still have a separate auction house that will operate solely on in-game gold. 

In addition, PayPal has been added as a payment option on Blizzard’s Battle.net platform.    This news follows PayPal being added as a payment option on Microsoft’s Xbox Live.
