Posted July 25, 2011 by M.H. Williams

DeNA has announced its new “Super Creators” initiative, with the company signing veteran developers like Keiji Inafune, Suda 51, and Yuji Naka to create games for the Mobage social network.  4Gamer (translated via Andriasang) reports that all titles in the program will be published by AQ Interactive.  The full list of creators follows:

  • Keiji Infaune of Comcept will be creating a possible action game called J.J. Rockets
  • Grasshopper Manufacture’s Suda 51 will be developing a social title based in the No More Heroes world.
  • The creator of Sonic the Hedgehog, Yuji Naka, will be making an undisclosed game that will use positional data.
  • Marvelous Entertainment’s Yoshifumi Hashimoto is developing a title based on the Harvest Moon franchise.
  • Noritaka Funamizu of Crafts & Meister (formerly a designer and producer of many of Capcom’s largest titles, including Super Street Fighter II and the Street Fighter Alpha series) is working on a new game called Nama-ge.

The games based on No More Heroes and Harvest Moon are expected to launch this Winter, while the other titles have no set release date.
