Japanese social giant DeNA has made a major announcement, with their latest expansion into the Western territories. The company has launched DeNA Studios Canada, based out of Vancouver. The new studio hopes to open its doors in late February.
DeNA has already announced that their CEO at wholly-owned Gameview Studios, Irfan Virk, will be taking over the job in Canada. His current work as Gameview CEO sees him working in Mountain View, CA at the present moment.
“We are excited to begin operations with the great talent in Vancouver,” Virk commented. “DeNA anticipates the new studio will meaningfully contribute to augmenting the whole group’s game development and operating capabilities.”
