Dead Space Dev Making A New IP

Posted March 1, 2011 by M.H. Williams

Still riding high from the apparent success of Dead Space 2, it seems EA’s Visceral Games is looking to break ground on a new IP. In a job posting on Gamasutra, Visceral is looking for an Executive Producer to work on “a bold new IP that is heavily backed by EA leadership.”

“The team is made up of industry veterans with a proven track record for shipping quality product. The EP will be both the creative visionary for the product, the ambassador of the project, and the person who builds and motivates the team to accomplish their goals of shipping a high quality, hugely entertaining title on time and on budget,” the listing continues.

So, not a Dead Space or Dante’s Inferno title. We're glad to see that Visceral is going to give Dead Space a bit of breathing room instead of trying to push out a new iteration every year, but what could this new IP be?
