DC Universe Online Adds 120,000 Users With Free-To-Play Switch

Sony Online Entertainment's massively multiplayer superhero experience has seen a boost since the game went free-to-play this Monday.   SOE boss John Smedley confirmed that DC Universe Online has seen 120,000 new PC registrations since the shift.

“Wow. Over 120k PC registrations in 2 days for DCUO PC. 4x concurrent increase. Big TV and online campaign coming later in November,” he tweeted.

That’s good for the game and hopefully it will allow them the chance to gain some more revenue from the title - revenue that can be used for new content in the future.
