Civilization Network Still Coming Next Year

Way back in October of last year, Firaxis announced its first Facebook title, Civilization Network. The social version of the hit strategy franchise has been in beta since June, but it looks like the long wait is almost over. At the BMO Capital Markets digital conference yesterday Strauss Zelnick, the future CEO of Firaxis parent company Take-Two, confirmed that Civilization Network should arrive on Facebook sometime in 2011.

Prior to the announcement yesterday, the game’s Facebook page had not updated since May of this year.
