Posted August 23, 2010 by M.H. Williams

Today, Capcom announced that Kazuhiko Abe would be appointed as CEO and President of Capcom U.S.A., Inc. and CE Europe, Ltd. Abe will be responsible for managing the American and European branches of the company and ensuring that both branches play well with each other.

Abe became a part of Capcom in 2003 when he joined Capcom of Japan as General Manager of Management Planning. In 2006, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer.

“Abe-san has proven to be an invaluable asset to Capcom,” said Kenzo Tsujimoto, CEO of Capcom Co., Ltd. “His experience of over seven years with Capcom can only benefit the operations in North America and Europe and strengthen the relationships between the Japanese and Pan-Western territories.”
