Call of Duty Spoof Nets 1.25 Million Downloads

Posted February 8, 2011 by M.H. Williams

Apparently, even a Call of Duty parody can be wildly successful. Bulletstorm developer People Can Fly created Duty Calls, a parody of Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series. The game is a send up of the seriousness of some first-person shooters these days, in contrast with Bulletstorm’s over-the-top anal-perforating action.

People Can Fly has told Eurogamer that the title has seen 1.25 million downloads. Not bad for a little parody game. Bulletstorm will be bringing skillshots to players everywhere on February 22, 2011.
