The NPD Group has sent out its top 10 best-selling game charts for the Decmeber period and full 2011 calendar year. Unsurprisingly, Modern Warfare 3 was at the top in both charts (see below), while Ubisoft's Just Dance 3 secured second place, and Skyrim came in third. It's also worth noting that EA's Battlefield 3 had a very respectable showing, coming in fourth for the year. EA has maintained that it did manage to take share from Call of Duty with Battlefield.
