At EA's E3 2010 press conference they showed off numerous titles, including Bulletstorm. The game has been making a buzz as an over the top FPS meant for pure, unadulterated entertainment, and the new demonstration has shown off the clearly cheeky dialog with the cheeky guns. A recent interview with Cliff Bleszinski showcased several thoughts on the impact that Bulletstorm will have on the crowded FPS market. The game will release on February 22, 2011.
Dead Space 2 (coming January 25, 2010) was also teased, with a trailer that will apparently be continued at the Sony press conference. The highly anticipated sequel has already been considered the most “un-EA game,” but it has already become a well-recognized title that has gamers clamoring for more. EA CEO John Riccitiello has been pleased with the first Dead Space, and is sure that the sequel “is more than a worthy sequel; it’s going to be a monster.”
