The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) today announced that Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick will keynote the 2010 Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain (D.I.C.E.) Summit. The outspoken executive will speak February 19, 2010 on how the gaming industry is driven by creative talent.
“Bobby Kotick has believed in the power of interactive entertainment his entire career,” said Joseph Olin, president of the AIAS. “The growth of Activision Blizzard, from bankruptcy to an industry leader is attributable to his unwavering drive to develop a studio model that fosters creativity to deliver great games. Activision Blizzard is home to some of the most talented developers in our industry and we are thrilled to have Bobby’s insight on how great games are built upon great talent.”
The 2010 D.I.C.E. Summit will also feature the 13th annual Interactive Achievement Awards hosted by Jay Mohr on February 18. The Independent Film Channel will stream the Awards show live and record it for a TV broadcast to follow.

This is the same guy who said he doesn't want his employees to have fun developing games and openly admits to wanting to milk as much money as possible out of their IPs (most CEOs feel this way, but this guy actually said it).
