Call of Duty: Black Ops has hit the big time with sales, scoring just under 3.3 million units sold in the U.K. That number puts it as the top entertainment property of 2010 for the U.K. market. By comparison, Avatar only managed to take in just over 3 million units.
The list of top properties, courtesy of ERA data through MCV, show that games had an overall strong presence in the world of entertainment. FIFA 11 placed third, beating out Pixar’s Toy Story 3 by just over 300K units.
