BioWare is treading into familiar territory, as their new project has been revealed to be an-old time favorite. Command & Conquer: Generals 2 will be coming from the studio, and even more surprising is that they will be using the incredibly powerful Frostbite 2 engine from DICE.
The trailer showed off a little bit of coordinated chaos, with units moving around a destroyed city. The trailer did open up with a confirmation that in-game assets were being showcased, rather than a trailer designed for your typical award show.
It has been confirmed that BioWare's new Victory Studio will be handling development of the game, according to a Facebook update from BioWare co-founder Dr. Ray Muzyka.
This reveal falls in line with earlier speculation that the game would indeed be a C&C game, thanks in part to a recent trademark application.
