BioShock Creator: 'I'm a WoW Whore'

Posted October 26, 2009 by James Brightman

In the latest entry of our Playing Favorites series, 2K Boston's Ken Levine, best known in recent years for creating the critically acclaimed BioShock, acknowledged how much he loves Blizzard's MMO masterpiece World of Warcraft

"Okay, it’s time to admit it. I’m a WoW whore," he admitted to IndustryGamers. "You know when Pacino says 'Every time I think I’m out, they pull me back in?' Well, WoW has just done that to me for the 5th time in as many years. Damn you WoW. Damn you to hell."

Humor aside, Levine put together a stellar list, which also cites Ultima Underworld as the game that inspired System Shock and BioShock and made him decide he had to become a game designer. Check out the full list for more.
