Batman: Arkham City Official Title of Arkham Asylum Sequel

Posted August 5, 2010 by M.H. Williams

Warner Bros. Interactive announced today that the official title to the sequel of Rocksteady’s smash-hit Batman: Arkham Asylum will be Batman: Arkham City. Arkham City is being developed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The projected release date is Fall 2011, quite far away for those waiting for more Bat-action.

The game will take place inside the brand-new Arkham City, a maximum security citadel in the heart of Gotham City itself. The mighty walls of Arkham keep the murderous inmates in, but can Batman save those trapped inside? The game will include a brand-new story with classic Batman staples, and some new gameplay features.

I have yet to buy the first one. As soon as I was they did that annoying thing where they release a version with more content. So i'll wait to get that one for around $30

It's well worth checking out Blaiyan. It's easily the best Batman game ever and probably the best super hero game created.
