Assassin's Creed and God of War III Nominated for Best Writing by WGA

The Writer’s Guild of America has released the nominations for the top writing in a video game for 2010, and the nominees primarily make up action adventure titles such as Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and God of War III.

The awards are meant to recognize outstanding achievement in video game storytelling.

The Writers Guild Awards will be held February 5 at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York.

I don`t know about Brotherhood or New Vegas but aren`t there better written games than GoW3 ? (I know it´s all about games from the U.S. and 2010. Where is Red Dead Redemption for example?).

I am happy to see Singularity there because it kind of went underground for being a bit too gimmikicky and repetitive in its gameplay but in my opinion it really had some good potential.
