Alan Wake has been a long anticipated title since it was first announced at E3 2005, but it won't be too much longer until the game's release. MCV is reporting that Alan Wake will release in May 2010.
The source cited says that publisher Microsoft is looking to promote the game “in the style of a Hollywood movie." A global release for Alan Wake is apparently planed for late in May.
In development by Remedy Entertainment Alan Wake is currently set to release only on the Xbox 360. The originally planned PC version is on hold, pending a decision by Microsoft to pursue it.

Alan Wake has now been released and it is a great game with excellent combat.
There's an eery feeling and atmosphere when playing the game which i think give a compelling and quite unique affect. There has been big hype over the game but there always is nowadays when a big title is released.
