Alan Wake has been in development for several years, long enough to have potentially had a PS3 release before Microsoft picked up the publishing rights, limiting the game to the Xbox 360 and PC. Now, however, it appears as though the game's release on PC is tenuous at best.
“We are fully concentrated on the Xbox 360 version,” said Sam Lake, lead writer for Alan Wake to Edge. “Other than that the plans are up in the air and open. Once we get this version done we’ll see.”
When pressed about bringing Alan Wake to PC, Lake responded, “As I said, the plans are open, and once we’re done with the 360 version we’ll evaluate the situation and see what makes sense.”
Microsoft Game Studios is pushing a game onto the Xbox 360 instead of PC, yet another piece of evidence why they murdered PC gaming.

Console versions should always take priority over pc versions imo. They sell more, have less piracy issues and....um, I don't play any pc games.

PC versions should always take priority over console versions imo. They look better, play better, have better controls and customization, mods, etc and...um, I don't play any console games.
