After being put on hold and seemingly canceled, it was confirmed today that Alan Wake will release on PC. The early 2012 release will include The Signal and The Writer DLC and come around the time that Alan Wake’s American Nightmare releases for Xbox Live Arcade.
While Alan Wake received a positive critical reception upon release, it sold under 200,000 copies its first month and was snowed under the zeitgeist of Red Dead Redemption. However, the game eventually sold 1.5 million copies, enough to prompt a brand new Xbox Live Arcade release.
