A small announcement is the inclusion of iPod Nike + software in the system. iPod Nike + is a sensor that ties to your sneakers that tracks your movement while you're jogging or walking, recording your speed and the number of steps you take. The data is then uploaded wirelessly to your iPhone, and it shows you how well you've done compared to previous workouts, but more importantly to gaming, compared to other users and friends. It will be interesting to see if game developers can take advantage of the pedometer functionality, making this one-product peripheral a more compelling experience.
